Masterbatch Extruder

The masterbatch extruder series primarily features two parallel cylindrical screws that rotate in opposite directions. The parallel double screw operates at a low speed, generating less heat and providing stable shearing of the materials in the barrel. This uniformity, coupled with the screw's strong material conveying ability and effective exhaust, contributes to the consistent quality of the masterbatch extruder's products.


The masterbatch produced from the extruder line is primarily used to color polymers. It is mainly categorized into black masterbatch, white masterbatch, color masterbatch, and liquid masterbatch.

Features/Advantages of Masterbatch Extruder


  • The barrel structure of the twin-screw extruder is similar to that of the single-screw extruder, and it is also divided into a single-piece barrel and a segmented combined barrel. In twin-screw extruders, machines like the intermeshing counter-rotating twin screw extruder and the conical twin-screw extruder typically use single-piece barrels. Only a few larger extruders use segmented combined barrels to facilitate machining and conserve some of the more costly alloy steel.

  • Intermeshing co-rotating twin-screw extruders predominantly use segmented barrels. These segmented barrels are divided into several equal-length sections. Some barrels have a feed port, some have an exhaust port, and others have an additive port. These sections are then connected with screws to form a twin-screw combined barrel.
