This machine is capable of directly shredding various types of pipes without the need for pre-cutting. The pipes are fed into a horizontal feeding groove, which automatically closes. The material is then pushed towards the shaft center, where hydraulic propulsion crushes the material. After the initial crushing, the material is transferred via a conveyor belt to a secondary crusher to achieve the desired particle size. The crushing chamber ensures thorough and effective crushing, providing high output, low energy consumption, and uniform discharge. The machine operates with low noise, no pollution, and is easy to operate and maintain. The entire system is controlled through a PLC-based centralized control system.
The Dyun Large Diameter Pipe Shredder is specifically designed to handle large pipes (up to 1600mm in diameter) without the need for pre-cutting. The rotor diameters of the shredder range from 848mm to 1968mm, with a hopper capable of accommodating pipe lengths up to 6 meters. The shredder is equipped with aggressive, 4-way rotating knives mounted in grooves on the profiled rotor, secured by special knife holders. This model can also shred bundles of smaller pipes, profiles, lumps, stacked wheelie bins, buckets, pallets, and more.
The hydraulically operated ram feeds the material horizontally into the rotor's cutting chamber, with load-related controls to adjust the feeding process. The hydraulic system includes high-pressure valves and volumetric flow controls, which can be customized based on the material input.
The machine features extremely robust pedestal bearing housings that are mounted outside the machine, preventing dust and dirt from penetrating the oversized bearings. This design ensures a long service life with minimal maintenance. Power is transmitted via a drive belt from the motor through an oversized gearbox located at the shaft end of the rotor.
The machine is equipped with a safety switch that prevents operation when the front panel is open, and emergency stop buttons are available on both the machine body and the control panel.
